I am currently an associate professor. I joined Virginia Tech in the fall of 2015 as an assistant professor.
From 2013–2015, I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Theoretical Climate Dynamics group at UCLA. My mentors were Prof. Mickaël D. Chekroun and Prof. Michael Ghil.
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Indiana University in 2013. The topic of my thesis is on dynamic transition problems in dissipative dynamical systems governed by nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations. My thesis advisor was Prof. Shouhong Wang.
