Welcome

I am an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at Virginia Tech.

My research lies in representation theory and algebraic combinatorics, focusing specifically on Macdonald polynomials and their relationships to other algebraic and geometric structures. I enjoy mentoring M.S. and Ph.D. students at Virginia Tech and teaching a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses.

Prior to joining Virginia Tech, I completed my Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina under the supervision of Ivan Cherednik. Prior to that, I was an undergraduate student at Davidson College and spent a year abroad at Universität Würzburg.

During the 2022-23 academic year, I was a visiting scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany.

Please feel free to contact me via email, or falcon.
